The Fifth World Community (5WC), which was registered at its Winnecomaq (Long Island) address with Google as a 'City Hall' on 27 January 2011, is an inhabited locality (or 'populated place' in American English), but it is not distributed across a single geographic area, archipelago, or conurbation, but across several continents. To be more precise, the 5WC can be defined as a diaxenospitia (a global village or burgh).

The 5WC is also the first settlement formed by the people of the United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago (UMMOA). UMMOA® is recognised with a registered trademark of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and that wordmark has been defined by them as indicating "membership in a political organization concerned with international affairs". The 5WC is actually made up of all the private properties of three real micronations of the UMMOA: 1) The Tallini Family; 2) Sovereign Nations Oasis; and 3) Principado do Ilhéu da Pontinha.

Slighty more than half of the UMMOA's population exists within the 5WC. This territory, known as Global Earth Oceans (GEO), but which may incorporate additional properties in the future of the 5WC, or not, is a growing new continent or macroregion.

Slightly less than half of the UMMOA's population exists outside of the 5WC (and GEO).

Outside of the 5WC, the UMMOA government maintains relations with the world's first Fifth World culture centre in Sainte-Valière in France, a place called Lo Gal.

Outside of the 5WC, are also foreign embassies sponsored/managed by the GEO Ministry of Homeless Affairs.

Here the UMMOA government supports the development of Revival Village, which is a three-phase innovative, holistic, economically efficient and sustainable "tiny home" pilot program to assist in alleviating homelessness. On 1 April 2015, because of a generous donation of the Guru of GEO (who is also the Mayor of the 5WC, and the Governor of the UMMOA), Revival Village was able to receive enough funding to be able to file for 501(c)3 status with the IRS.

Here the UMMOA government also supports Land for the Homeless, which takes on a more Native American approach to homelessness. It is working to buy a plot of land, and construct a community for the homeless. On 19 May 2015, because of a generous donation of the Guru of GEO, Land for the Homeless was able to receive enough funding to be able to file for 501(c)3 status with the IRS.

Global Earth Oceans (GEO), which was founded on 4 December 2013, was registered at its Winnecomaq (Long Island) address with Google as a 'Government Office' on 6 December 2014.
